Cornudas is a little "place" - not really a town although it is on most maps - located along highway US-180 about 100 miles east of El Paso, in Hudspeth County, Texas. In other words, so far remote that our normal notions of BFE are put to the test. We stopped in while heading home from Louisiana on New Years Eve, 2004, and had a breakfast. A classically strange place, the walls of the cafe are covered in all sorts of paraphernalia, including currencies from most countries of the world. This is a place people come to simply to say they've been here.
It's a nice place to stop along the drive to and from El Paso to the Guadalupe Mountains. The nearest actual town in Dell City, while Sierra Blanca (the Hudspeth County Seat) is located about an hour south.
