We were in Laughlin, and she had found this interesting site while reading about things to do in the area. The Grapevine Canyon Petroglyph Site is about a dozen miles northwest of the hotels, the last couple miles along good dirt road that any car could handle when dry.

From the parking area, it is a quarter-mile walk up a sandy drainage to the main rocks hosting the glyphs. We scampered up a few short slopes to get good views. The ancient Indians were able to etch the glyphs onto some pretty exposed faces. There are also a lot of interesting caves, voids and arches here. We spent about two hours exploring the area.
