Baker Park & Carroll Creek
Frederick, Maryland • June 24, 2020

The day after I arrived in Maryland, we went on a walk along Baker Park, which runs parallel to Carroll Creek, a small creek that runs through town. The day was sunny with puffy clouds, and humid, but very pleasant.

The park features big open grass fields, sports fields, ponds, fountains, old buildings, amphitheaters, geese, ducks, and lots of people out walking. We walked almost three miles overall, in about 90 minutes.

I was most amused by the ducks.
